Our day started off with a quick breakfast in Denver, and then it was off to spend a couple of hours at The Butterfly Pavilion! We all knew Brian would be in heaven there, but we didn't realize how much Noah would be! He absolutely LOVED all the bugs/spiders and was thoroughly interested in everything there was to see. Watching his little expressions and hearing his reactions about everything was probably the best part about the whole experience! =)
After another quick lunch in Denver, we headed back to our house to hang out and play a game while Noah slept - ever heard of the hottest new game out right now - The Settlers of Catan? 2.5 hours later, we took a break from game-playing, headed out for a looooooong walk to see the train and then came back to the house and ordered pizza for dinner. Before we knew it, it was time for Noah to head back to bed. So what were we to do? Make dessert and play another round of Catan until all hours of the night! ;)

What a fun place! We love to go up to Denver, that will have to go on the to-do list. I have heard good things about that game, too!

Noah is such a mini-man in these pictures! I showed Noah's picture to Nathan and he said, "Nee-wah!". Ha! Funny. He can say "no" so well most of the time... ;)

That was a PERFECT day! It really was fun watching Brian and Noah exploring together. (Brian finally has somebody to share his hobby with!) I'm glad Noah isn't freaked out by all things flying and crawling - like somebody who shall remain nameless... (You didn't mention how Becca and I earned our badges of courage that day!!) It really makes me look forward to our next family outing!
we love settlers of catan too!!! actually quite a few of us church folk love that game! we could have a tournament or something :)
