Santa's Candle

Last night we went over to Auntie and Bob's house (since trying to get them to come here just wasn't working out with schedules the past couple of weeks) - they said they had a surprise for Noah. =) Actually it was Bob who had the surprise for Noah this time - Auntie brings Noah surprises all the time. ;)

It was this:

An ornament of santa holding a candle. You hang it on the tree, plug it in, and when you blow out his candle, ALL the lights on the tree go off or on. Noah loves it. Needless to say, the lights on our tree frequently go off and on.... off and on.... off and on.... =)

Here's a video:

That is one of the cutest ideas I've seen in a long time - and Noah LOVES it!!! His excitement over the tree and the lights (and the "deer" in the front yard) has been so much fun to watch, but this little surprise makes it even more fun for him. Seeing Christmas through a (almost) 2-year-old's eyes makes even the little things new and wonderful!

Ha!! That is SO cute! Teach him how to do it REAL fast and you and Greg could have a little dance party while he's busy breathing. :) He's SO big!

What a unique idea! Although, between my two the lights would probably break from all the confusion...:)

Addi would love this - do you by chance know where he got it? Just thinking of presents, tis the season.

And BTW, Merry Christmas - I'll be a little sad not seeing you all at Christmas Eve services 2011 {1st time E.V.E.R!}
