Jen got another new lens for the camera for her birthday, so we've been playing around with it (and the old ones as well), doing little photo shoots here and there, practicing and having such a super fun time taking photos of the kids lately!

6 Months Old!

Baby love is 6-months-old today.  It's both a sad thing and a good thing.  She brings such a new element and dynamic to our family and we just can't seem to get enough!  :) Every day is so new and unique and different with her. Some days are more of a challenge.... but in the midst of those challenges, we have to stop, take a breath and remind ourselves that it most definitely could be worse.  We have so many friends going though so many (major) rough things right now, both personally AND with their babies/kids.  How blessed we are. In all aspects of life.  Always.  Goodness.  We've also learned to turn our focus during these more challenging times - interceding for others, praying for miracles/blessings and thanking the Lord for how good WE have it.  What an amazing thing for the heart and soul to shift your perspective.  :)

6-months-old.  Half-way to being one! She's a movin' and a shakin'.  Eating like a champ.  Sleeping better and better all the time.  Pretty much crawling.  Sitting up by herself.  Advancing like crazy.  Getting easier. Happy.  Healthy. Beautiful.

Happy Apple Tradition

Oh traditions.... gotta love them!  =)  Even though it has been a few years since we have been there, it usually had been our tradition to go to The Happy Apple Farm every year to pick some pumpkins (and apples and get some cider and other fresh made goodies in the store).  Basically though, we have decided to just make going to a pumpkin farm our tradition.  ;)  But either way, it was super fun to go back to one of our favorite spots and take Emma with us this time!  Today was forecasted to be kinda yucky, so we planned to get there right as it opened. We most definitely couldn't have planned it any better either. We spent about an hour there and as we were leaving, the wind picked up super hard, blew dust everywhere and then came the downpour!  The walk back to the car was certainly one for the memory books, but hey, we had fun!  =)
