Baby girl is just growing and thriving and still fitting in with our family quite flawlessly. This past month she has:
* Laughed hard in her sleep - 4 times - at 6 weeks old! She's been doing it for awhile now, but not as hard, or loud, or frequent or as much in a row as she did at 6 weeks. Now to get her to do it when she's awake...
* She has slept from 9-5 a few times (even went 10 hours between feedings during the night last week!). She takes 4-5 hr naps at a time. She smiles LOTS. She talks LOTS (will sometimes wake us up in the morning with her talking - this means she'll be ready to eat soon - she's just giving you a fun/friendly warning).
* She had a blowout poop SO bad last week that we had to throw away the onesie and the pad underneath as well as the diaper after a major hose-down in the tub. Nothing was salvageable. This girl. Goodness.
* She loves to be swaddled but always manages to get out of it no matter how tight we do it. She's quite the strong one, this little girl. The good thing is, she still sleeps even though she's not swaddled.
Here's some pics from the past month:
She absolutely loves to sit up and enjoys time in her Bumbo seat. (oh that hair....) :)
Went for a picnic.... she slept while the boys played ball.
Here's how she rolled during our lunch play date one afternoon.
This is how she did her 1-month appointment. She was like this even during her shot!
"I love my brother!"
Well hello there, gorgeous!
Zzzzzzzzzzzz............
Laying on the floor, talking. (probably asking what we can do about the hair situation....) ;)
Heart melter......
Again, loving to sit up!
Loves being held. Loves mostly being held by her brother.
Loves tummy time - surprisingly!
How can one frown AND have such kissable lips all at the same time?!?!
Telling brother all about it.... ;)
Au-natural selfies. ;)
"Mama, can I hold Emma?" We get that asked a LOT. :)
The camera intrigues her....
Little grin. Happy baby.
Caught her mid-smile.... with that goofy little tongue sticking out. ;)
Us - with THE two cutest kids EVER!
